And We're Back! Again!

Hello all! Welcome back to Tribbles and Targs: A Star Trek Podcast! Thanks for sticking with us while our computer got wiped.

This week we discus some parodies and references to Trek in popular TV shows and movies. We often mention clips that we have seen and have posted links to the you tube videos here. Since we are getting back in the Captain's chair this week, so to speak, this is a short episode. You can download it from itunes (search tribblesntargs) or here at podbean.

The Future of Bump-its

So we are still writing on this blog, even though, unlike podbean, we cant tell how many hits we get, and since no one is commenting so we don't actually know if anyone is reading this. What is Exciting is that in the last 30 days we have had almost 100 subscribers to our podcast on podbean!! (www.tribblesntargs.podbean.com )YAY!! Even though there are over 100 of you now, we still recive very little responses! only one or two a week! (sometimes none!) so comment! or follow us on twitter! www.twitter.com/tribblesntargs

Now we will be starting a comentary series starting with TOS "Mirror, Mirror" and going through Voyager (not Enterprise... sorry)That will bring us up to the begining of June. So, send in your sugestions for episodes. We will have 5 episodes (probably) before we take a 3 week break for vacation. Actually, we will probably stop at episode 20 just to have a good stopping place. unless we slack in the next few weeks.

Also, New comtest!! YAY! We want to have t-shirts made up for the podcast. (on www.cafepress.com of course)So we will be accepting ideas. We were thinking of 2 designs one for Tribble and her fans ond one for Targ and his fans. The winner will get a complimentary shirt when they are made. We also created a temporal paradox, by spoiling Voyager for you, then unspoiling it and talking about spoiling it.

Episode 2; Of Favorites and Cats

Hello all, and welcome to episode 2 of Tribbles and Targs: A Star Trek Podcast!

This week we explore our favorite episodes!

We just found out that there are 30 listeners on podbean, so lets get to some comments and emails people! As we all know last weeks episode was messed up, so we couldn't get an answer to the trivia, but we will give a big shout-out to the subject of the question: The late Great James Doohan, who played Montgomery Scott (the answer to the trivia question was montgomery), you are sorely missed. While we are giving shout-outs, one goes to Deforest Kelly who would have celebrated his 90th birthday this week, he too is sadly missed.

Next week, we have not a clue what we are doing, since Targ's birthday is this week, and he will be emersed in all his gifts. Let us know if YOU have an idea for next week! We were thinking of discussing engineers... maybe. so keep checking in, we will let you know before we record.
